From here I will edit the ending in Adobe After Effects to show a fade in of the SPCA logo, as on this playblast it just shows a kind of blank sign slide in at the end. There also needs to be some editing done to the animation before rendering and importing into After Effects, especially with the walk cycle and some other movements that need tweaking.
Camera views:
- view from top - I cut out the raining scenery because I felt I could add colour overlays to set a dismal mood to the first part of the animation, but I feel the top view makes the cat look kind of lonely, small and helpless.
- camera moves down to focus on cat - shows you what is going on with the expression of the cat (sadness) you can also see the slogan on the sign, sets the theme.
- close ups of cat - to focus on the emotions and distress, looking around for help, slight zoom when someone stops near to place food.
- camera moves to food - focus is on the importance of the food here.
- camera moves back up - focus is on the cat, shows the mood becoming more hopeful/cheerful.
- Camera starts to move away from the cat - we can see more of the surroundings as the camera moves back to show the importance of the food items popping up around it and also to let the cat move towards us as we see what it sees.
