Blendshapes

Once the character was rigged, I focused on creating emotions and minor movements using blendshapes. The character looks excited and sad at some points during the animation so I repositioned the brow, mouth and ears, and also the tail. I chose to do this as a simpler way of expressing emotion rather than needing to open its mouth to make noise. Here's what the blendshapes look like:
