Time to edit the final video! Here I added some coloured overlays to set the mood (blue, pink, yellow etc) I also added some audio (people on the street/footsteps, clang of cat bowl being put down, happy music at end of animation) which I found on freesounds.org. I forgot to mention earlier but I also got my textures from http://www.mayang.com/textures/ for the background objects.
I ended up cutting up my animation a bit and going back into Maya because I didn't like how the paw was moving the sign, so I fixed that and re-rendered it out to edit again.
