Cameras and lighting

When  initially rendered out frames of the interior it looked too washed out so I changed the gamma correction to 0.5 rather than 1.0 and it definitely added more depth to the shadows. I also added a yellowish hued ambient light in the interior to make it look like light is coming through from holes in the ceiling:

Adding cameras....I placed a camera with an aim in the centre originally but it didn't quite work out for turning so I investigated another idea...
 I noticed someone online added a nurb and parented it to a camera, this seems to give a good 360 view of the room:
I started filming the interior but because of the empty background I chucked the roof on top of the room. Sadly after trying rendering a frame out the roof didn't show up, so I decided to just chuck the roof texture in final cut pro as a background layer for when I edit the animation:
