Cutting continued and editing flag

Because I couldn't get my flag to look like the combined objects had smoothed over I think I will need to do it the hard way. I'll remove some of my edges to make the flag shape simpler and then try and cut away the faces I don't need, then connect half cones with a circular endings to the original mesh. I think it will look much neater after I do that, and I will duplicate it to fit either side. I have removed the cylinders from the flag in these images.

I also cut apart more of my objects to prepare them for the UV mapping process. I will fix the base a bit more before I cut it because there seems to be some problems with random face, vertices and edges popping up, so it needs a cleanup before texturing:

Note: I've been keeping everything on separate layers during the process out of habit, and to stop interference with other meshes.
