Environment - working on perfecting

I got quite frustrated with my art style for making the environment for the first scene so I ended up doing it a few times then implemented some brushes in Photoshop to give a more realistic feel.

Here is my first idea done in SAI, it's messy and I don't like the style but I like the colour samples I used so I might re- use them:
