I decided on the Okapi design with the thick-ish neck and large ears. I thought it might be better to make him stand on 2 legs so that he is more expressive during the animation. I also feel like he could have a slight devious look during my section because he is planning to trick the rhino into giving up its horn.

We are now defining the character's design and starting to model depending on whether our animation will be 2D or 3D or mixed. I decided I want to work in 2D for this animation so I can try to learn the Toon Boom program better.
